Charlie Dalin is a highly accomplished French offshore sailor and naval architect, widely regarded as one of the most talented skippers of his generation. Born on May 10, 1984, in Le Havre, France, he graduated from the University of Southampton with a degree in yacht design before launching a meteoric career in solo ocean racing. Dalin first made headlines in the 2020–2021 Vendée Globe, where he was the first to cross the finish line after 80 days at sea.
