J. Presper Eckert was an American electrical engineer and computing pioneer best known for co-inventing the ENIAC with John Mauchly. A visionary in early computer design, Eckert played a critical role in advancing digital computing through innovations in memory storage and high-speed processing. He was also instrumental in the creation of the UNIVAC, one of the first commercially available computers.
