Tenzing Norgay

Tenzing Norgay was a Sherpa mountaineer from Nepal who achieved international fame for summiting Mount Everest alongside Edmund Hillary in 1953. His climbing skills and knowledge of the Himalayas were crucial to the success of the British expedition. He remains a national hero in Nepal and a symbol of perseverance and strength.
